Sushi Cookbook

For this project I created, designed, and hand-bound a sushi cookbook. This cookbook is not only visually interesting but acts as a work of art guiding its readers through a sensory experience. Each recipe provided detailed instructions on how to create the particular sushi roll while offering a visual incentive to motivate readers to try that recipe. I chose a minimalist typographic approach to balance out the vivid photography. I wanted the photography to be the main attraction so that the type would compliment and ground the design.
