Upgraded Living Magazine
Upgraded Living is a monthly lifestyle magazine based in Chico, California that distributes over 16,000 magazine copies in Butte County. I was the Production Director for over 5 years and during that time I had the pleasure to work with over 60 clients each month to create their ads, profile articles, and columns. I was responsible for the overall production of each issue, including creating a cohesive look for the entire magazine while making sure each client's needs were fulfilled. Every month I was responsible for scheduling and creating content for the upcoming issue. I would oversee our entire freelance staff including all writers and photographers. While collaborating with my fellow co-workers, I created a monthly cover that highlighted each month's feature and top articles. My goal when creating the cover was to entice the public to grab a magazine off the rack and learn all that is exciting in the Chico community.
